BONEFOOD BRINE
MAKES ONE GALLON

INGREDIENTS:

 1 QT. APPLE JUICE
1 QT.WATER
½ CUP BONEFOOD DRY RUB
¼  CUP KOSHER SALT

  1 GALLON ICE CUBES

METHOD:

   BRING ALL INGREDIENTS ( except ice) TO A BOIL REMOVE FROM HEAT,STIR ICE INTO LIQUID TO MELT.THIS WILL YIELD I GALLON OF BRINE.

HELPFUL TIPS:

  1. USE A POT BIG ENOUGH TO HANDLE THE AMOUNT OF INGREDIENTS INCLUDING THE MEAT, MEAT SHOULD BE COMPLETELY SUBMERGED.
  2. CUT RECIPE IN HALF FOR SMALLER CUTS OF MEAT, SUCH AS WINGS OR CHOPS.
  3. DOUBLE RECIPE FOR A WHOLE TURKEY

      4.   FOR SMALLER CUTS OF MEAT BRINE 2 TO 6 HRS. AND LARGER CUTS OF MEAT SUCH AS A LARGE PORK LOIN, BOSTON BUTT, OR WHOLE TURKEY CAN BE BRINED OVER NIGHT.
